I don't really keep up with the climbing world much these days, but being a good citizen I pick up the odd hitch-hiker on the road to the mount. Last friday I stopped for a french bloke. His english was pretty bad but I am sure he said he was going to the mount for "a dezent of zee gullee wiv mon pogo". He did have a bag a bit like one you would carry skis in, with (I think) "Zorfini" or something and an arrow written on it in blue writing

I left it at that, not wanting to appear too ignorant of the extreem sports world. But I reackon the challenge is pretty cool, if I had good knees I'd definatly give it a go, but as any 9 year old knows it is much harder to pogo down hill than it is to go uphill.

This guy must be hard core. Did anyone see him??

Should this question appear in the "accidents and injuries" section....

Maybe not until after the event? ~ especially if he mistakes Alis descent for "zee gullee".

Concept is way up there with extreme ironing?

Heh, heh, heh.

I saw some serious extreme ironers at Piddo one day. They seemed happy enough.

Weirdos.

I reckon this thread would be a good opportunity to bad out Parkour, especially since the guy in question is French.

Mmmm...let me think...

I'll get back to you on this one.

Picked up a French guy in the middle of Uluru, about 300kms from the nearest town. Said he was a bush walker experiencing the outback. Lucky he didn't experience death from stupidity.

Ran out of water and had been walking for 3 days.

Sounds like the same guy.

Looking forward to a rewrite of Kent's account of the Burnley incident with a bunch of pogo-packing French dudes. Vive La Revolution!
