I was only kidding! But some sort of chockstone pro would be great. Maybe a little far fetched idea though

The custom hold thing has been done by cragX. I designed the hold (an X strangely enough) and it turned out wonderfull. But not every one has a woodie. Every one has a place for a t-shirt! mines top left drawer!

But a t-shirt is a great Idea. Maybe the design could be of a giant erection being summited?
this may just be my imaturity showing, sorry all.

The T-Shirts idea all became too much effort. The dude that did the design we all voted on never got back to me with a high res version. Fiona got quotes from a couple of printers, and yeah a print run of 50 or 60 I think was the minimum. Quite a bit of money up front which scared me a bit, given it would be Steve's money I'd be using and need to recoup in full. Don't know, the whole thing seemed too much trouble in the end and it's not like I'm getting paid to run the site or anything.

To take it up again, someone would need to track down the design, or we make a better one somehow. Get the printers organised, find out what limitations there are, what format they need the design in, if they provide the shirts, etc. Don't know. Someone else can drive this if they want too. It's outside my experience. I can dig up the quotes, and there's the list of interested people, I can put you in contact with Steve, and make mods on the site here to promote it, etc ...? There's a big step from "yeah t-shirts great idea" to it actually happening.

fairynuff. OK Mike, I'll be in touch.

One option would be (assuming a high res version of the design can be found) to convert the design to
PDF format and then either take it to printers who do individual t-shirts ~ $25 at last count. have to
provide your own t-shirt(good white & grey ones for roughly $10 at rivers)
OR
have the PDF as a download from the chockstone website, and with the right transfer paper, you can print
it on your computer's printer at home - to make an iron-on transfer for your blank t-shirt. Not screen
printing quality by any means, but way cheaper, and no overheads and stress for Mike or Steve.

Feedback Please Folks! Does this project still have the support of chockstone members to give it the
strength to top out (and in what style IE pro screen printing or dirtbag download transience etc), or will it
gease off its crimpy little holds and peel from the wall in shame?

I think most people woudl be happy to pay for a complete printed t-shirt. I would personally buy two of them (providing they are in blue - ha ha!)

Have experience with those iorn-ons. They work bloody well long as you NEVER wash your shirt!

Hey Mike.. we are yet to meet but I'm a B'go climber... I just noticed this forum today. I was a semi professional screen printer & graphic designer & just starting to do it again. Let me know what's up & I WILL get the ball rolling.
