Spam?

Re interstate roads, the C19 thing is causing border closures... and our crap internet system is often slow or intermittent as well as overloaded.

Last time I checked, I was not your personal research assistant. If you don't know what is going on in the Health world to impair the abililty of older diabetics to climb, or in relation to Covid, I suggest you choose different news sources.
I was a non-athlete at school. The only sport I could represent my senior high school in was chess. Yet from ages 55-59 my sporting achievements are unlikely to be all bettered by any current stoner.
As a retired medical specialist with a Masters degree in Biostatistics I would be happy to lecture in NZ on what you are doing wrong. For an appropriate fee of course.
Do you think that you are going to match my results by demanding free info or advice?

He was appointed a "goodwill ambassador" (i.e. had no power) and promptly removed after outcry.

I looked but couldn't find this.

>Accused conservative governments who did introduce travel restrictions

I looked but also couldn't find this. If you're talking about Trump's travel ban from Europe and China, they basically said it was too late because the disease had already spread widely in the US.

>Produced a recent report on how wonderful Iran's health system is, and
>how well they look after minorities.
Ignoring the minorities bit, are they wrong? There are plenty of democracies with worse health systems than Iran's. Freedom doesn't necessarily mean good healthcare, as you can see in the US.

>As covid deaths climbed, released a communique promoting traditional medicine,
>drawing attention to their policy of incorporating T&CM into standard medical

WHO has certainly been promoting T&CM, at the behest of China. Perhaps COVID-19 will make China less enthusiastic about this. It's also important to note that Western governments pretty much sit back and let this happen.

>Not to mention their actions in the field of diabetes, but given the lack
>of response to my previous post I guess chockstoners with an interest in

The point is, all governmental institutions are flawed. If you only look for evidence to confirm your opinion that WHO is flawed, and ignore all of the benefits, then of course you'll conclude you're right - it's called confirmation bias.
The real question to ask is "Is the world better off with WHO?". I think it's good to have an semi-neutral organisation so that health authorities all around the world can share research, statistics, treatments, etc. around COVID-19. Without that, every country would be operating in the dark and reinventing the wheel and the situation would be much much worse.

If you're gonna spray what looks an awful lot like disinformation and conspiracy, and you have a fecking degree, I expect links at least, if not full-blown citations. Come on, that's not how research works, and you know it. It is however a common tactic of paranoid narcissists who don't want to share their "research" beyond their own skewed perspective. You want me to believe you? Then why make it hard to follow up on your claims? Or maybe you don't care whether I believe you, in which case why post your claims in the first place?

Conspiracy theory isnt really a derogatory term, if an institutions largest donor is an entity that stands to benefit from the decisions made by that institution, that is conspiring. Conspiring is part of our public-private partnership society. The who, just like anything 'u.n' related, is effectively a Rockerfeller proxy. For an insight into how big oil equates with big pharma (I.e mandatory intradermal vaccination or you cant access your money) I recommend James Corbetts two documentaries 'how big oil changed the world' and 'why big oil changed the world'. They are a bit old and very much in the entertainment realm , though not nearly as much as lifelog's facebook , and his website provides well documented notes for any assertions he makes. Most of what James does is take others research and present it in a t.v style palateable chunk.

FFS. Can we keep this thread about climbing relevant topics?

"Aussies come home" they said, so I'm an Aussie ex-patriot and guide returned home from California, where I did have some nearby local crags that weren't documented to recreate in without other people.

Now I'm halfway through my 2 week self-quarantine.

I'm waiting on materials to build a woody (thanks uncarved block!) and doing online coursework and thinking about remote climbs in the blueys to stay sane once I can get out.

With the campground closures, whats the score on camping in the blueys? What's the best option for being really far from other people. With the closing of campgrounds, can somebody email me options for camping? I'm planning to climb conservatively and in the backcountry and not worried about becoming a liability to the healthcare system.

The whole point is that being far and removed from other people is isolating yourself and that is not o.k Wanting to remove yourself from the holding pen , whether it is in the wilderness , or in the ocean , is just downright selfish. Stay at home , there are some really good virtual adventures out there now if you have v.r , some great canyoning and a few climbs too , and to be honest , its kinda better for the environment.....that is....if you really even care about the planet. Your call.

E. Wells, you have confused me.
At first I wasn’t sure if you were trolling, then I thought you were actually serious with your anti-establishment leanings, but now you’re supporting them?
What side of the fence are you on?

Things have moved on. I'm not now going climbing.

I'm still using my local bush for riding, running and walking.

Coke or Pepsi? What fence? Have you read that pdf from GBN and Rockerfeller foundation yet ? 'Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development' , go to section 18. This isnt about 'the cough' or ten dead ninety something year olds, Event 202 , whatever you want to call it. Its about your enslavement. So Mr Lump of Coal in Parliament is in lockstep with IMF and U.N to lessen the impact of this scourge upon the earth that they (literally) refer to as canon fodder, some might say 'humanity'. There are two sides?

This isolation is starting to get to everyone’s head!

I intend to continue to desperately layback and chicken wing all cracks again once the ban is over. Not giving in to this madness.

I propose that thecrag regulate climbing post event202 so that only those with vax credentials can climb, something like this...

Please stay at home. The blue mountains LHD do not want more people in the area. This is a time to exercise at home. The small hospital at Katoomba cannot deal with much at the best of times, it’s big brother Nepean is getting ready for a war. Please, for the good of us all, stay at home and get your exercise in and around your home. Mountain locals appreciate everyone who is taking this seriously. It won’t be forever, and if we slow the spread, our hospitals won’t be overwhelmed like overseas.

So its been here for four months , given the glut of real science (mostly acheived in the 90s) showing that exposure to electromagnetic radiation damages dna and renders lymphocytes useless , the very thing our immune system needs to be resilient to a virus. Every body hoard in one small area and drench yourselves in microwaves. Someone in the ocean told me yesterday we were only supposed to be there for one hour. Hmmm. Good science. Good logic. Another winner from the Govt. that was complicit with Port Arthur , Iraq (the first time) , 9/11 (the "laws" they are using now), Afghanistan, Syria, Woodside/Timor, The Christchurch firewalls etc the list goes on.....now of course they have everyones best interest in mind. Thats why whilst Im being told to not be in the ocean for over an hour, the god damned TAB is still open. Stay Connected.
