Went mountain bike riding earlier this morning to beat the mid 40’s heat...
The heat’s pretty fast, as it beat me there, and beat me back home again too!
... but it didn’t reckon on my secret coping tactic of beforehand mostly filling the camel-back bladder with ice cubes and topping it up with fresh water!
~> turned a potential epic into an enjoyable ride.
There’s a zillion other tips and tricks that are likely worth sharing -

... and with that attitude you wonder why finding an outdoor climbing partner is hard?
Heh, heh, heh.
~> Much better to demonstrate your climbing prowess by giving tips like; threading your trad wires together to lengthen their reach for placements seemingly out of reach!
... Or pre-clip your placement with a long runner to cover your pumped out stance, before shortening it up to a quickdraw over the top, to cover the upcoming sketchy crux move!

Well if I could find some young pup, a Sorcerers Apprentice, I could pass on all these wonderful skills, and more....... like cutting a broom in half........

Clean undies are a must, as is an epipen in case you find out you’re allergic to everything in the great outdoors;)
