That rant is just more of the same one sided (whichever side) propaganda shite that every media outlet has been regurgitating for months.
Why didn't it mention the significant changes to income taxes that are part of the deal? Or the sometimes-optomistic assumptions used in the economic modelling?
I'm still waiting to hear/read a balanced piece on the whole thing.

I did actually think it was amusing & entertaining, but its just disappointing that everything is so biased.
Whoever bullshits the best will get up in the end, how is any normal person going to make an informed decision?
If people sprout biased bullshite in normal conversation then I generally tune out... when everyone sprouts based bullshite then it almost encourages apathy.

Listen to both biased views and figure it out from there?

Can anyone find me some info on the natural sequestration of carbon in Australia compared to emissions? I know we're the highest emitter per capita so I want to know how much is being converted back due to our landscape and surrounding oceans.
I've a brief look but can't seem to find much.

I guess you got your answer TonyB
Yes, the majority of Chockstoners do want a carbon tax.
I was reading the "cage match unspectacular" topic when I was in bed with a broken leg and boy does Tony have some awesome quotes in that thread.Statements so ridiculous that it would make it hard to take anything that man says seriously.

Tony B is not in the big league of nutty climate change denialists.
I went ot a lecture by atmospheric physicist Prof Hans Joachim Schnellnburger on Tuesday which was interrupted by 5 members of the Citizens' Electoral Council. They ranted that climate science is part of a greenie conspiracy to commit genocide. So it's not just socialism-by-the-back-door!

I know it's hazardous to bring up one of Tony's pet threads, but this article did remind me of it:

Too much ranting for me.... but the first comment caught my eye:
I agree with Tim on most points, but nobody should be forced to stoop to the level of drinking instant coffee.
