A new year and while conducting a review of Users and re-filtering them through the Stop Forum Spam tool, I tripped over User ID Asold, who although passed our filtering when last logged on 17 Jan 2017, failed the SFS test this time around.
Disabled today as a result.

Post edit 06/01/18: New (8074) member of today lucazslee90 passes SFS test (and a Google search), but may be less than perfect as country of IP address origin is Canada and not Victoria Australia as claimed, so will be monitored.

Stop Forum Spam site has some good tools and diagnostic abilities. Statistically the average is 27 in every 100 queries to it responding as a positive result, ie being a known spammer; with 6,749 positive records from Australia alone last year.

Post edit 08/01/18: Today's new User ID aa1oue disabled and NFL coin spam deleted.

Moderator edit 14/01/18: Today’s new UserID young23 pre-emptively disabled due having 10 prior spamming offences recorded on SFS. I did the check and got him while he was still logged on at the time. Would’ve loved to have seen the look on his face when his log-in failed after having just been accepted by the registration process!
