Can anyone tell me whether the Anasazi Verdes are the same size as the equivalent Anasazi velcro or lace-up? (i'm considering ordering some by mail and am trying to work out what size to get).
Also, does anyone know if the heals split apart on these like they tended to do on the velcros and the lace-ups?
cheers

Hi mate,
I love 5.10 shoes and climb in Anasazi's myself. I have a couple of different models of 5.10 and have owned lots in the past. In my experience, the sizing can vary a fair bit between shoes (by up to a couple of sizes). So if you are buying them without trying them on it can be a bit of a gamble... although their sizing can be a bit hard to work out, i still reckon 5.10 shoes are the best around :)

I've got a pair of both models. The advice I got from FiveTen was to size the Verde's down a half size
from the pink ones. This was pretty accurate in my case. (9.5US Pink = 9US Verde).
Cheers,

My wife uses the pinks, and when I got the new verde's for her I stayed with the sizing that she had with
the pinks, but the verde's are uncomfortable for her, the toe box is much more tapered or pointy than the
old model, if she had gone down a size it would have been worse.
I have used the velcro stazis for years and again, stuck with my sizing, they are tight, but will break in
soon I hope!!!, once again, if I had gone down a size It would have made them unbearable to wear.
So be aware of the difference in shape, as the old pinks are more rounded in the toe area, having said
that the heel is magic! much better than before, with hardly any dead space, and they are reinforced at
the area that would tear, near the heel, so that issue has now been dealt with.
