Yep. Left a bag of 20-30 of the suckers sitting somewhere at the Dam Cliff on the Monday of the long weekend.
In a mesh harness bag, marked cleverly with yellow tape (the brackets, not the bag), which my friends all peel off before stamping them with their initials.
Beers in Bleakheath if any good soul can return them.
If not, shock horror, I might have to buy some for a change.
Cheers
G.

Welcome to the dark side of the bolt plate economy.
Me: "I had like 10 new bolt plates in my pack, but I never got any back after last weekend! I don't know where they go!"
Everyone else: "Haha I found more bolt plates in the bottom of my pack after last weekend! I don't know where they come from it's great!"

Another confirmation of overbolted spurt routes these days.
The Dam Cliffs routes are generally very short, ie less than half ropelength, so whyTF would anyone need 20-30 brackets there?

Bolt plates are the strangest things.
I bought five of them years ago when i started climbing. I have never bought any more, I've lost about a thousand, yet I've got about 15-20 of the little suckers. No idea how that works.
