He came off Morfydd and pulled his first piece. Carried out.
Was speaking to a friend of his today and told he's doing ok.

good to hear he is doing ok..
would it have been a cam in the undercling crack?

I'm not exactly sure, I haven't been on the route. The description I was given was "#2 Camalot in a slightly flaring placement that looks better from below than it actually is". He wasn't happy with it and was down climbing when he fell. It may have been starting to rain too.

fairy nuff.. i remember doing that climb earlier this year,
for me it was bloody hard work to say the least

Hope he is doing okay. Good on him for going for it. I hope to be climbing for at least 20 years.

Here's a picture of the emergency response - you might be able to see the group of climbers at the base who were passing the stretcher down the track.
