Hello everyone,
I plan to take a trip all the way from cold Denmark where I live to Australia, in the beginning of 2007 and stay for about ½ a year.
The first month or so, I will be living in Canberra and hopefully also climb some there. I don't know anyone there who also climb, and being as it is, climbing is my passion. I was therefore hoping I might find a partner or group to do some climbing with, and maybe if things turn out right travel a bit with through Australia.

Now...go answer so I wont feel so alone :)

GVP your post is like a blast from the past...I grew up in Denmark, left for a "little while" at about age 20 and never went back.

Heh thats is comforting and worrying at the same time.
Where in Denmark did you live?
I don't suppose you live anywhere near Canberra do you?

Also, I have no fixed schedule so I would like to come to Victoria to climb at some point if I was able to find suitable people to do it with. Then this post might also seem a little more valid, being a Victorian board and all :-P

G'Day GVP. In town, it wasn't so "big" a place back then. Some of my family are still there, my brother lives on one of the farmlets on Ocean Beach Road just as you come out of town...if you turn up looking like an axe murderer I'm sure he'll welcome you in for a beer. I live in Europe so I'm not much use to you in Canberra.

Then I guess I gotta work more on my axe murderer pose. I just get so tired in my facemuscles looking all wired up, but if thats what it takes to get a beer, it's well worth it!
