A friend of mine runs these trips (there's nothing in it commercially for me so I hope it's okay to mention it
here?). he's had a couple of bookings fall over and has some spots on his yacht for trips to Antarctica and
areas around Patagonia/southern Chile. would suit exploratory ski trips, mountaineering or just exploring
on the boat. Here's the dates -

Cape Horn & Chilean Channels - Mon 18th September -- Fri 29th September 2006
Cape Horn & Chilean Channels - Thurs 5th October -- Mon 16th October 2006
Cape Horn & Chilean Channels - Sat 21st October – Mon 30th October 2006
Antarctic Peninsula or South Georgia - Sat 4th November – Thurs 23rd November 2006
Antarctic Peninsula or South Georgia - Wednesday 29th November – 18th December 2006

He's an Aussie ex-fisherman from Lakes Entrance who lives on the yacht now based out of Ushuaia in
Argentina. Nice bloke and offers a great trip (I went with him on an earlier yacht to the Peninsula in 99/00 -
excellent trip! We climbed a couple of new things and did a 3-day ski traverse of Weinkie Island. His

expeditions.com - Cost is very reasonable, specially if a few people get together and book the whole boat
- something like AUD$3200 / day for the whole yacht and it takes 8(?) passengers I think. Lucas
