Hello
I'm busting it over to Melbs this weekend to meet up with some mates, but on the way I'm looking to bust up some problems in the Stapylton / Hollow Mountain Area - this will be on Thursday - it's going to be 42 deg. or so, so I'm looking for some shady areas with bouldering up to around V5 - maybe V6.
I've only been up to the Hollow Mountain Cave and Loopeys before but am wondering what other locations are like for shade - I really like the idea of Between the Sheeps and Trackside but I don't even know what these areas look like :S
Anyone got any hot tips?

Get to the cave early and enjoy the shade.

Kindergarten, Between the Sheeps, Epsilon Walls would be pretty shady, trackside would likely be pretty hot, Andersons can be suprisingly shady but still likely too hot for this weekend....unless a cool change comes in, I think Loopeys gets afternoon shade from memory....

tried that! got up at 5am...was already sweating. upon 6am arrival it was already like 3 degrees up there. Kindergarden is the best bet. been up there in 36 degree heat and it was coooool as a cucumber!

Yep

Nope. It, along with THA CAVE face the same direction as Taipan, and gets the sun in the arvo. Problems further in THA CAVE might be ok, but all the lip traverses are in full sun. Who like Spooooogey shlopers?
