Hi everyone!
We are casting former smokers for an upcoming content video shoot who have quit smoking and gone on to do something epic… like rock climbing!
We’d love to hear from you if you took up rock climbing since you quit smoking and have been kicking goals and achieving great things as a rock climber since! Or even if it’s something else epic, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for people with great stories who have found giving up smoking has enabled positive changes in their lives. These stories would be filmed for online content videos
People selected would be required 1 day on either May 26th or later in the year.
Must be over 30 yrs and Sydney based. This is a paid role.
If interested, please email felicitybyrnecasting@gmail.com with a recent photo, age, contact details and a bit about your story.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I hate to be cynical, but a gmail address for a business proposing to pay people? Can't the budget stretch to a domain name? Or is stugang getting bored in Singapore?

I'd pay to watch you on TV Dan... Especially if you reenacted John Travolta's dance scene from Pulp Fiction, the one with Uma Thurman:)

I know someone who used to chain smoke to keep their weight down for climbing. Once they went off the "Half an apple and 2 packets of Benson & Hedges a day diet (™)" they immediately put on 15 kg and their climbing performance obviously dropped off BUT they did seem happier within themselves and they do still manage to get out doing a bit of kite surfing here and there. I know another top Australian climber who took up smoking through climbing ...and their performance dropped off (true story...but I also know another few top Australian climbers who didn't take up smoking and their performance dropped off as well). None of these people are me but if any of the above stories work for you I would be very happy to sell you their email addresses.
I don't smoke and I don't like smoking and I'm all for discouraging smoking and encouraging quitting but, looking back, absolutely every climber I knew who smoked and gave up, climbed better when they still smoked. Have you considered doing an ad with older people making good use of the bonus decade (statistically speaking) they bought themselves by giving up when they did?

I have a friend who smokes like a chimney, enjoys the odd beer, ate only Cherry Ripes and egg on toast (no plate required) used to climb 32, wrote a book about it and is now a multi-millionaire from the film and TV rights
It worked for him.

Does the cherry ripe get fried with the egg?
