Moderator edit:
I received the following PM from the original post thread instigator, that I have largely copied to here after being updated with the good news that the missing climber has been found.
>Missing climber has been located and is now in safe friendly hands, but he has been through a rough patch personally.
>I thought about updating the post, but think it would be best for missing climbers privacy for it to be quietly removed - if that's possible.
>Would you mind please taking it down?
This request has now been facilitated.
I have deleted the few replies the thread had, but left the thread alive to serve as an update for the Chockstone readership.

Dear all
Unfortunately, post this update below, Phil Lawlor has since disappeared and has not been seen since June last year. NSW Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
If anyone does know Phil and sees him in the Sydney area (he may be sleeping rough, our best guess would be around the Belmore Park, library or Central area in Sydney CBD), please contact me via 0403 324 366 or adriancmurray@gmail.com.
Alternatively - NSW police contact is here: https://www.facebook.com/BlueMountainsLAC/photos/a.163595200386465.43132.154874211258564/911700928909218/?type=1&theater
Obviously friends would dearly like to see him again.

Sorry to hear of this.
Re photos on Chocky at present, that upload function is temporarily down... However, if you have already uploaded a photo in the past it can be resurrected from your photos located in your profile, and re-posted again* ...
(*Use the same script for the specific photo as indicated on the uploading photos page).
