Hi Joe,
If you hadn't been travelling all over Europe climbing for weeks on end you would've known that the VCC Trip last w/end was organised by Steve Chapman and me! It was the annual VCC trip organised by the Yerba Crew.
We had a great day in the shade at The Ravine on Saturday (it was 35 degrees in Horsham!) and an excellent day at The Guardhouse on Sunday.
It should be noted that the 'young strong boys' couldn't stick the dyno on the 24 at The Ravine on redpoint, but a couple of dinosuars (sorry to include you with me Will!) managed to static the move and flash the route for the ONLY clean ascents of the day. SCOREBOARD: 100% for technique and 0 for the dyno!!!
Congrats to Mike Back who sent his first 23 at The Guardhouse on Sunday. Simon and Adrian were so close, and yet that is the attraction of working a route. Commiserations also to Will who fell off the last hold of Ingvars 26 at The Ravine. Don't worry Will, you shoul be able to tick it once both kids are in Secondary School!
