Did some walking at the Prom this week and now after the fires its amazing to see how much potential there is down there. Places like boulder saddle and above Waterloo bay have amazing amounts of rock thats probably never been climbed and unfourtunately never will.
On a good note I spoke to a parks officer at Tidal River about the future of tongue point and they mentioned that theres a new management team recently put in place and that they may be interested if the V.C.C was to talk to them. SO if JOE (?) is reading this then maybe a call to parks would be agood start.

There is some great climbing at Tongue Point...the pro is solid but the footholds not as much....great jams though. A double bolt anchor exists with a shitty chain....

Was hiking there last weekend in perfect weather .. mmm crags around Oberon bay(s) look especially inviting now that some of the surrounding foliage has been burnt off. Just needs some belays and pro!
