June 10th I'm outta here, Sydney to Stavanger.. Fk knows how long for but a couple years at this stage.
I'll be living in a pimped out van (rapevan 2.0) and travelling ALL over Europe with a bunch of excellent people climbing, wingsuiting, surfing, snowboarding, and prancing naked through meadows.
So I'm starting to build a list of super classic must-do routes.. Mainly interested in long relatively Cruisy stuff on rock snow or ice, especially things I can jump off the top of, but boulders and bolts won't be neglected entirely. Have at it!!

I reckon a nude reenactment of the twirling field scene from the "Sound of Music" is a must;)

Norway. Troll Wall. Place an inflated tyre tube near your wingsuit landing location!
Good luck 'rodent', and don't forget to post a trip report or two.

I won't be jumping at trollveggen repeatedly with my norgie friends because apparently it is illegal :) I've spoken to a couple people who have climbed it and apparently the choss and rockfall are horrendous so i might give that one a miss.. And yes I'll put together a little blog from the road with photos videos and stories in case anyone is interested

I'd be scared to go near your van. How do you finance your trip?

Adam- UK passport
Groveller- I work in mining/oil & gas precisely so that I can do things like this, working 12 hours a day until I go but if I stay long enough to run out of money I can work offshore over there, and luckily you are not the the target market for additional van occupants

Le Chant du Cygne, 7a
It's almost a thousand metre sport route on the north face of the Eiger. As an added bonus it ends about a hundred metres from the Eiger jump off point.

Where are you surfing ?
Potrugal is the bomb, and France (Hossegor, Biarritz) also. In summer there will be naked birds in France on the beach. In winter north sea swells. Portugal cops a pasting from the north sea and north atlantic in winter. Figuera de Foz, Peniche (supertubes), the Ericeira region (Coxos, Pedra Blanca and the 'beachbreaks') have great waves. 3-4mm rubber weather. General word is to avoid Mundaca these days as it's got a big crowd waiting to drop whenever it cranks. I suspect a whole heap of northern Spain is great too.
At every opportunity let people know you aren't English.

Sounds perfect, thanks!! Guess I better start getting fit! Tried to jump the Eiger last year but weathered in, looking forward to getting up/off this summer!

It's good to see that some things don't change.
Have a great time, Mr C.

Verdon is an obvious choice....plenty of climbing and BASE options there. Chamonix is also another one.....lots of cruisy alpine multi-pitch and several jump spots eg brevant.

Unfortunately Brevent has been closed to jumping (3 people died on it in the first week after it was opened) but the line is well above my wingsuit ability/commitment at this stage!
