Hey guys
I was wondering what top rope mount Araplies has to offer and what equipment I would need to bring for top roping there? Most top roping I have done has just had bolts above the cliff to which you put some locking bines on. Does Araps have this?

cheers

Yeah man, its totally set up.

You'll need some long slings to tie off the car park bollards above the cliff (some of the old guys still rig off their car's towbar, but its not really best practice)

I don't know if you've used natural protection before, but having a little bit can allow you to access a few extra routes. Don't worry too much with nuts and cams, they're over-rated. I just carry a set of slider-nuts, 2 big bros, and a #14 masterhex. That'll pretty much cover every base.

There's an awesome campground on the western side (which is actually closer to the best climbing). This spot is much quieter during busy periods, and my personal favorite. Just keep driving past Nati, for what feels like quite a while. The campground road is on the right just after a gentle lefthand sweeper, it'll be very obvious when you get there.

Have a great trip

Bored(?), or did something in your dinner disagree with you?

If you hang around long enough you will notice that ODH isn't usually this kind!

My advice would be to go with someone experienced in setting up bombproof anchors, and learn those skills yourself from them at the same time!

Hmm, sketchier than Lucky Chance's shenanigans, but not as bad as doing a beginner aid weekend with me?
;-)

Your a wanker ODH. But in some strange way , without even knowing ya, I simultaneously wanna meet ya, learn from ya, and then climb ur arse into into kingdom kum. U seem like the kinda guy who needs a good head butt and caning from a mate. Give me a call sometime.

This is a family forum. Can I politely request that your rants of feverish lust are restricted to PM's and not the public forum where children such as bl@ke frequent without parental supervision.
