I don't give a stuff whether you "endorse" me BP; I'm objecting to your usual denigrating drivel. You refer to a group of 4 people, exclude one, and proceed to bitch about "some others". its obvious how the other 3 people will take it ... casting aspersions implicitly rather than explicitly doesn't make it any more palatable to the targets of your tiresome thinly supported tirades. Same goes for your rant about "chosy fillins" on taipan not covered by Simey's guide, and the motives of those involved. Let's just point out the obvious: you're implicitly saying that Ben Cossey, Lee Cossey, Garry Phillips, Dave Jones, HB, Kevin Lindorff, Rich Heap and Steve Monks (who all fit your description) are all egomaniacs, and that their lines such as groove train, sheek naja ket, Snake Flake DF, Nether, Mr T, Snake Flake RHF, Quetzalcoatl, HBs dyno project, Ukrainian geranium, The Old Dog and Lure Groove are all chossy fillers. Ridiculous.

By all means have a spray on chockstone - but if you can't stay on target and instead decide to shoot from the hip and hit all the bystanders, don’t be so surprised if the bystanders stand up for themselves occasionally.

>have climbed the "mega classics" that they put up, they are complete rubbish, & detract from Taipan.

Please name these routes. For example if you've done any of Neil's three Taipan 26s, especially rattlesnake shake, and thought it was complete rubbish, then you must have lost any ability to enjoy the sport - it ranks among the best few % of grampians routes IMHO.

Getting back on topic ... what the lynch mob failed to notice is that Neil's comments about interstaters doing the bouldering guide merely highlights the lazy/inactive/unhelpful and/or secretive condition of victorian climbers - effectively (and later explicitly) giving a pat on the back to David and Chris (as do I). but as usual those comments have just been misused as an excuse to have a bitch

La-Chump: your post/troll is barely worth acknowledging, but I'd hate to think that anyone might actually get sucked in by that garbage so I'm calling it as much.

edit: i wrote the above before seeing Kieran's post - eerily similar eh?
