I have a large outdoor climbing wall for sale. It consists of 4 large treated pine poles supporting a galvanised steel structure with elevated platform that is approximately 30 m high. It is clad on two sides with climbing wall pannels, overhangs and variuos obsticles. I am not a climber my self so I am trying to find a club or business that might be interested in buying this unit.
I can organise to relocate it in 1 piece or it can be broken down into 4 reasonable walls. It has to be sold, it is in the way of other works.
It is currently installed on a military base in Australia. I have photos and further information on it.
If anyone is interested, I would appreciate a phone call or email. This unit cost just over $200,000 when new. I can relocate it just about anywhere in Australia for about $50,000 or $60,000.00 - It is a serious piece of gear that just begs to be climbed.
Thanks.

Sounds good... I've got a spare 30k sitting around for a rainy day.... Could even set up a flying fox from my place to yours for ease of access....
The only way i'd pay 60k for a climbing wall was if someone could re-locate Taipan wall to any North - Eastern Suburb area.....
30m is a big wall but 200k is bigger.... ; )

I'm not after a SERIOUS climbing wall. I'm after one with a very good sense of humour.
If you'd seen me climb on plastic, you would understand why.

30m high? how could it be transported transported as one piece, that is the length of nearly 3 full length shipping containers? I didn't think that you could get treated pine posts 30m long?

The existence 30m treated pine aside - I was wondering how it is possible to climb a triangle.

Would have thought it would have been an AME panel system and not mostly just ply...

It has big rest ledges on the way up - just like the Blue Mountains

By my count it is about 15 pannels high, if each pannel is 1.2 high then that would make the wall 18m high

id be pretty annoyed if i payed $50000 to get an 18m climbing wall that would fit inside my 20m high warehouse to find out when i try and put in inside my warehouse there is 18m of wall but there is actually 22m of structure.
