I thought about it beforehand and chose to do the inside, because I figured the reproofing would last longer if not subjected to grit/gravel etc.

At that stage I didn’t know how the ‘silicon-paint’ would bond to the tent material inasmuch as whether it’d be like a skin and subject to peeling, gravel-rash scrape style punctures, or whether it’d bond in an impregnated fashion. I’m pleased to report it is the latter, and in my opinion not likely to peel / delaminate.

I turned the tent inside out and pegged it out on the lawn so painting the floor was the easy part. On the second day I hung it on the clothesline and finished off the sidewalls of the bucket-style base up to the walls proper. In between finishing it off, I draped it over a bench inside the garage overnight with the tacky side up so it wouldn’t stick to the bench.
