I suppose I would direct this at Evan first up.
Does anybody know what the limits are on the Home Insulation Program being introduced from July 1st. I can see the info for the 'Early Installation' program currently running which is a reimbursement of up to $1600. I've searched but can't find any figures for how much and whether it's means tested or anything like that.
edit: their you go as soons a sI asked it magically appeared......

it appears it's the same dollar amount but it won't be a buy first and get the money back later setup that it is now.

It's funny you should ask, as I spent a good couple of hours at work yesterday researching just that.
The Environment.Gov site has heaps of useful information
Note also, there is potential assistance for rentals as well. I can't remember the details, mostly because I'm so hung over I can hardly type, but there's something in there. We're getting a quote on insulation this week, and looking at solar panels (thanks lacto) as well. It helps a lot that the ACT have ridiculously generous feed in tarriffs. Not my fault if they're foolish, might as well exploit them like everyone else.
