Have watched it a few times and found it too be very good. The first is a fairly basic but good intro to climbing basics and the second one is a more intense look at the mental and physical preparation needed to climb hard. The second one also has some great footage of Neil climbing some great routes.

I’ve been watching it over and over for a couple of years now and think its really well thought out and comprehensive. The crew have done an excellent job with this and I reckon there’d be something in it for most climbers. I particularly like the analytical descriptions during the climbing. The only down side is the warning’s at the beginning of both DVDs are long and can’t be fast forwarded and one of the technique segments is accidentally repeated (which isn’t a big deal). Money well spent!

Neil is a great coach and i've done a few trips with him to Kalymnos. Check out these for tuition at a great sports climbing location:

as opposed to what passes for sports climbing in OZ :p
The DVD's are good too....didn't know they are available in Oz.

the course was really good....i had been to kaly the year before but really struggled on steep rock above 6b.
Neil started off with some footwork drills and a day or two of onsighting before "assigning£ us redpoint projects...because of my aussie trad background i'd never really done this properly so it was a real eye opener.
Every day was filmed by him and played back to us in the evening....again something which was really helpful.

kalymnos is amazing. might be still a tad warm in august tho. in september 08 it was still clocking 33 degrees each day. august would be warmer.

Sounds like it really helped to move you forward. Hope you're still getting value out of it. BTW, I bought my dvd's from Planet Fears' website.

...33 degrees
I can't wait! I'm gonna have to work around the weather though as I can't change the timing. The biggest deal is that the heat will also probably reduce my likelyhood of finding climbing partners around that time but I'll take my chances.
