The Select guide is good for your first few trips but it won't be long before you're wondering what all the awesome looking routes and crags are that aren't covered. If you're going to go to the Gramps often then you'll probably end up buying all of them. Yes it's a nightmare, and yes you need to carry multiple guides, updates, printouts etc to every crag to understand whats going on.

For this reason several people are working on entering info into the ACA Grampians section so that it will become a single comprehensive guide for the entire Grampians. So far the most popular (and best) areas of the Northern Grampians have been comprehensively covered in ACA, namely Stapylton Amphitheatre (for which Kieran kindly allowed his guide to be reproduced in full), Hollow Mountain and Summerday Valley. Print these out and you don't need to buy the Ampthitheatre guide, and won't miss much if you don't get the North Grampians guide or the North Grampians update.

In addition to compiling everything into a single place (for the first time in decades), the colour topos on these pages in particular are a major improvement over all the print guides (if I do say so myself).
