Hi All.

Just to remind you that whilst you're all freezing your asses off down south, the tropics is still ticking along nicely.

Here is the third of the promised NQbouldering films. This is a new film that focuses mostly on the season this year at Bowen, with a dash of Harvey's at the end. It is in 3 parts, and can be found at the following:

The Narcoleptics Volume 2
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDZMhZF1S_A
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYB_ipTpKIk
Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdXHBCx99ko

The very last problem, (Walk the phat line V8 at Harvey's), is in my opinion probably one of the best boulder problems in QLD, although the footage isn't that great. Also of note is The Line V7 at Bowen (name is going to change) and the new roof: Steve O'besity V9, which are two of the finest problems at Bowen.

As always I appreciate your feedback.
Hope you enjoy, Steve

Friction... what friction?

Actually it is not that bad if you are lucky and just climb the late afternoon. But for a road trip- it is too much of a risk. You might run into monsoon rain for 2 weeks, or you could strike that nasty two weeks we have here it doesn't get below 28 degrees... at night.

Winter is amazing- between april and october is ok- outside of that is fine, only if you are passing through for something else.

That being said, we would love to see a few more visitors up here. Harvey's still has another 3000-4000 problems to go and we just discovered another very cool beach area.
