The variant first pitch is called Deep Play and is more popular than the original first pitch because you can climb it even when a reasonable swell is running. Original first pitch requires flatter sea and low tide.

Deep Play is 24 or 25, has 2 or 3 original stainless carrots in good condition and takes smallish wires and cams. It may be wet for the first few metres due to splashing.

As Bomber says, the top pitch is all bolts except for the last 6 metres where you may require a couple of large wires or medium cams - i.e. don't take a whole rack.

The scariest part is the pendulum on the end of the abseil rope to reach the 2 carrot hanging belay for Deep Play.

Just tow the asbeil rope behind you for the Tyrolean escape.
