This is a follow on from an earlier post I made gauging interest from Chocky members. I am now up in the Hunter Valley for a few months.
Just a shout out to people wanting to head up the Hunter Valley to go climbing at Warrumbungles (or Kaputar). I'm keen to get out every 2nd weekend or so to go climbing and bush walking/running up here.

Bungles are closed at the moment:

Fairly understandable considering the visitors centre burnt down (and possibly so did the main camping area facilities, rangers' offices, etc)
But when they open again we'd all like to know the status of the various climbing areas post fires.

From the pics I have seen, the Bungles look like they have been half zapped by a Death Star. I think the park may be closed for some time.
I'd be thinking Kaputar.
What about the Wolgan?

I'll be at the Wolgan for the Easter long weekend with my family, will have all my gear & a burning desire to escape the little tackers for a climb, so drop me a line if anyone wants to climb.
