Maybe when video links etc are posted the poster should include the actual (for example, youtubes) title according to the page/video title. That way things can be more easily searched for before being reposted?
A lot of what i'm seeing on the video thread is "ha ha ha. very funny fall" or "look at this guy's thoughts on climbing". Not really identifiable. (Especially at 55pages long)

I usually just search for the video ID using the search function on the front forum page. I'll try to remember to add the video title to youtube posts so that a google search should work too.

I just wasn't sure this would really solve the problem, what with all the "embeds" and "from source" (making that up) within the youtube links, didn't realise the search is so specific for sub-sets of the full URL. *shrug*
I guess the end result is that you're probably the only person doing such a search before posting :-P
